Hi!

Let me introduce myself properly. My name is Jaclin. I am an indie author who loves creating dark romance stories. I fell in love with writing and reading ever since I read the book “Until Friday Night” by Abbi Glines. That book was the book that made me want to read more books which led me to start writing. I never thought I would see myself loving books and writing so much. 

I was never great at reading and from elementary school all the way up to junior year of high school, I was in Special Education. Reading and grammar has always been kind of hard for me. So me publishing books and writing them is still so unreal for me. It’s really true when they say, anything is possible if you put your mind to it. 

I am 2o years old and live in Southern California with my little sister, mom, and dog. My dog’s a Sharpei named Vader. My mom got the name from Star Wars even though she doesn’t watch Star Wars.Whenever I’m not writing or reading, I’m alway going on a drive around my city. It’s a great way for me to clear my head and even get some great ideas for books.

Behind the author all of you know as Jaclin Marie, I am also a car lover. I love talking about cars, specifically BMWs or any German car. I have had two BMWs since I got my license. My first car was a 2006 330i which I ended up crashing, RIP! Now I drive a 2020 230i. I’m currently trying to get my dream BMW which is either an M4 Comp (G82) or M5 Comp (F90). Now if you don’t know anything about cars, that’s okay! I just love sharing my passion for them. My ultimate dream car though is a Ferrari 458. Anything is possible if you’re delusional enough, so I know one day I’ll get it. I don’t know how but I will. 

I went to college for a year, studying criminal psychology. I’ve always loved learning about the dark and twisted parts of peoples mind, like why they do things they do, what they are thinking, etc. I dropped out just because I’d rather pursue writing and spend my time doing what I love rather than learning. I still love criminal psychology and watch some online lessons but being an Author is where my passion is at. 

That’s kind of it for me. I like staying in most of the time. Only time I go out is to get food or go to car meets with my friends. I love spending time indoors and relaxing.

You’re the reason I am, where I’m at right now. I don’t know what I’d be doing right now if it weren’t for you guys.
